Fortune 500 Gas and Electric Company, San Francisco, CA

  • Designed a capacity allocation model for Gas Operations that supports mandated CPUC requirements and optimizes the pipeline throughput of gas supply from the Northwest

  • Installed Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) technology for virtually all of the company’s electric and gas customers over a 5-yr period ('07-'11) at a cost of $1.739b -with 10M meter upgrades

  • Installed network to collect reads & communicate with meters and IT systems, manage the data, store and bill reads

  • Developed the business case for Automated Metering Infrastructure (AMI)

  • Supported the company through the application/filing process, supplied expert testimony and other support through evidentiary hearings, and achieved CPUC authorization for the project.

  • Developed a strategy and implementation plan for a metro-fiber via electric service entrance network to serve commercial enterprises

Fortune 500 energy service company, San Diego, CA

  • Replaced existing Billing and Settlement system (i.e. database / spreadsheets) with integrated enterprise back-office billing systems

Major provider of natural gas, power, and environmental products, Houston, TX

  • Increased profit share by re-engineering the company’s customer enrollment and billing systems as they ventured into new deregulated markets in the United States and Mexico

Municipal gas, power and water provider, Dalton, GA

  • Developed a strategy and implementation plan to leverage existing assets and launch voice telecommunications products and services to existing utility client base

Major wireless telephone provider, Redmond WA

  • Designed a product profitability model for a national wireless voice/data provider to identify targeted market segments and product lines.

Major long distance telephone provider, San Antonio, TX

  • Developed the business plan for a local phone service provider’s entry into the long distance market
