Our Executive Team

  JIM MEADOWS

Jim is the principal partner of FSG which he founded in 1993. Jim has performed corporate development, finance, strategy and planning roles for new ventures, small and medium businesses, as well as large multi-national corporations. Jim is an expert in clarifying complex business issues and developing actionable plans.

Jim is currently Director of one of the largest AMI programs in the U.S. covering one of the largest electric & gas service territories in North America, with an overall budget of $2 billion. Jim has led projects such as revising the long range corporate planning process and strategic reviews of operations to identify cost savings opportunities. For new ventures he has directed the finance and planning function through multiple funding rounds and made presentations to venture investors. He has also developed product sales and marketing strategies and negotiated vendor contracts and services agreements.

Prior to founding FSG, Jim worked in the accounting, tax, and consulting divisions of the predecessor firms of Price Waterhouse Coopers and Deloitte & Touche. Jim is a Certified Public Accountant in California and a member of the AICPA. His training includes finance and accounting roles in the securities and public accounting industries. Jim has a Master of Management degree from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

SRINIVAS RAJAN

Srinivas is the principal partner of FSG. He has fourteen years of experience in IT management including strategy and implementation. Most recently, Srinivas was part of the practice leadership team at IBM for Intelligent Utility Network (IUN) which includes AMI and Smart Grid sales and delivery.

Srinivas is responsible for IUN business development, strategy and implementation for multiple utility clients. He has extensive experience in Utility processes and technologies for Supply Chain, Financials, and Field Force (Mobile, FSD and Work Management) with packaged ERP applications. Srinivas is well versed in IT projects and portfolio management with several large scale and complex interdependent program implementations.

Srinivas has sold and delivered AMI projects with revenue exceeding over $50 Million over the last 4 years. He holds an MBA from university of North Carolina and a BS in mathematics.

 JOE PEREZ

Joe is an expert at designing and building detailed financial models that allow business planners to explore a broad range of business scenarios. He has a unique combination of powerful computer modeling skills and an in-depth understanding of finance and valuation techniques. Of particular value is his ability to take complex business problems and lay them out in a precise and logical step-by-step process that facilitates understanding the financial issues and solutions.

Since joining FSG in 1996, Joe has built financial planning models for a wide variety of clients including utility companies, telecommunications service providers, high tech equipment manufacturers, software firms as well as financial services companies. In addition to designing and building these models, he has aided clients in presenting the models and their results to senior management, venture capital investors and to various regulatory entities.

Prior to joining FSG, Joe had a 23-year career with Pacific Bell and Pacific Telesis Group. The last five years were spent developing and applying a company-wide financial planning model that was used to guide decisions concerning network development, new product introductions, and regulatory strategy. Other positions he held were primarily in the regulatory arena, dealing with the California Public Utilities Commission and the Federal Communications Commission. Joe holds an MBA in Finance and a BA in Computer Science both from UC Berkeley.

  LOU MOLINARO

Lou has over 18 years of public accounting and management consulting experience and is an expert in designing business models with easy-to-use interfaces and calculation modules. He has extensive experience developing forecasting and budgeting tools.

Lou has led consulting projects to evaluate the potential launch of a variety of new products and services in the utilities, communications, hardware manufacturing and software industries. He has led consulting engagements to evaluate potential acquisitions in both the on-line services and video services industries.

Prior to joining FSG in 1993, Lou spent eight years with Coopers & Lybrand. He has a BSBA from Boston University with a dual concentration in Accounting and Management Information Systems.

RYAN GOLDMAN

Ryan has over 20 years of utility consulting experience and is an expert in managing IT releases, vendor management, process improvements, meter lifecycle management and international back office operations.

Ryan has led consulting projects to manage the potential launch of a variety of AMI and AMR initiatives in utility industry. He has led IT initiatives in various utilities in Unites State and Canada.

Ryan has a BS in Industrial Engineering from San Jose State University and is PMP certified. Ryan is the Vice Chair of Utility Industry Group.

MARY T GRADY

Mary has over 25 years of corporate financial management and management consulting experience and is an expert in designing business models for planning and forecasting, budget vs actuals, financial analysis and control. She has extensive experience developing forecasting and budgeting tools.

Mary has led consulting projects in financial modeling, forecasting, variance analysis and project management.

Prior to joining FSG in 1997, Mary was Director of Modeling and Strategic Planning with Pacific Bell. Mary has an MBA in International Finance from Stern School of Business (NYU) and a BA from University of South Carolina.

LEE HARYANTO

Lee has over 10 years of utility industry experience. He has extensive experience managing programs for Gas technologies and the connected IT systems.

Lee has led several consulting projects for IT program management in various utilities across the nation.

Lee has an MBA in Finance, IS and Operation Research from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS in Electrical Engineering.

FRED BREW

Fred is a Senior Consultant with over 20 years of experience in both corporate and consulting roles. Experience is in all phases of finance, modeling and business planning in various high tech industries with a current emphasis in the energy and telecommunications fields.

Fred has led consulting projects in financial modeling, reporting, business planning and project matrix.

Fred has an MBA in International Business from Santa Clara University and a BA in Finance from San Jose State University.

MAHESH C KHURANA

Mahesh has over 25 years of experience in many industry verticals, notably in the Telecommunication and Utility industries. Mahesh specializes in Program and Project Management in a variety of fields, including IT programs.

Mahesh has led the PMO initiative in a major utility company where he managed compliance of major releases with internal audit and external agencies.

Prior to joining FSG in 1998, Mahesh was the Director of IT for a law firm and CTO for a startup company. He has completed post graduate education in Project Management from George Washington University and holds a BS in Engineering. Mahesh is also PMP Certified.
